I've tried all 3 flavors of the Balance CarbWell Bars and liked them all--the caramel is especially good. For all 3 flavors--instead of being gooey like a candy bar, the texture is more solid--more substantial--which I prefer, since it takes longer to chew it. Also, they are not as cloyingly sweet as a candy bar. I also prefer this quality, since I find eating nutrition bars that are too similar to candy bars just trigger cravings for the real thing. I'm so glad these are still available since a lot of the low carb products are not. I would recommend these bars to anyone looking for a meal replacement bar or just a healthy snack--whether you're low-carbing or not.
The Chocolate Fudge is good, but the Peanut Butter doesn't seem to taste like anything. I haven't tried my Carmel bars yet. They do satisfy your craving though and are especially handy if on a low-carb diet. You don't feel guilty and are left with a full feeling.
